Here are some pictures from the “Walk for Peace” on day 90 as the Buddhist monks (and Aloka the Peace Dog in his caravan!) are approaching the bridge over Jordan Lake on their way to their lunch break.
The full write-up of what was a mind-blowing experience can be found in the link below to my personal BLOG where I tried to capture the essence of about three minutes of an encounter marked by peace, respect, and silence that led to revelation and hope that we do indeed have a future that is more positive than what it currently appears to be.
These monks, Aloka, and all who have been a part of their journey have seen much and endured even more and yet they still walk with purpose and determination that is remarkable, to say the least!
At the end of their posts on Facebook is the following tag-line and it’s stuck with me ever since and I offer it as well as these pictures in the hope that it will be as true for you as it is for me.
May you and all beings be well, happy and at peace.
